Our Club
Celebrating 100 Years of Friendship and Service
Rooted deep in community service, especially where young children are concerned, the Kiwanis Club of Greenville celebrates the 100th anniversary of its foundation on September 15, 2022. Organized on that date in 1922, the Greenville organization has a long tradition of service to the Greenville area.
The first meeting and establishment of the Greenville club took place just seven years after the initial idea of Kiwanis was conceived among a group of businessmen in Detroit, Mich., in 1915. Thus, the Kiwanis Club of Greenville was one of the very first Kiwanis clubs in the world.
